There’s nothing like the simple pleasure of a vintage oil lamp to cast a warm glow on day’s end

I grew up with utter excitement at the thought of the lights going out during a storm and the chance that we would get to light the oil lamps. It has taken me all of these years to finally have my very own oil lamps, and I light them at every opportunity, storm or not.
